Lydia is the co-founder of RentCheck and an advocate for fair and transparent renting for all.

RentCheck technology provides guided inspections built for residents to help property managers increase profits, increase visibility, and improve resident satisfaction.

The founder of REEP Now (Relief Effort for Earning Parole) — a nonprofit that provides parole advocacy and support to people in Louisiana — Lydia also serves as a mentor at Idea Village, a non-profit organization with a mission to identify, support, and retain entrepreneurial talent in New Orleans and the surrounding region.

Her achievements include being recognized as one of Inc. Magazine’s Top 100 Female Founders and a Business Insider Rising Star in Real Estate.

Lydia holds a JD/MBA from Tulane University and a BA from Kenyon College.

She is also known for her custom bolo ties and signature hat—both of which have their own stories to tell.
